Background:
Tom works for the KPMG Data Analytics Lighthouse, an client facing advanced analytics consulting practice inside KPMG . As a Senior Associate, he has worked on D&A joint ventures, HR analytics projects and multiple federal engagements for the Department of Defense. Years of experience breaking down complex systems and the cross-pollination of analytics and accounting experiences has enabled him to build deeper financial models, amalgamate esoteric accounting systems and parse dense XML files to drive value based reporting and process automation.
Tom's interests are in all things applied business, he's a hands-on system creator with a flare for solving new problems; just please but don't make him create another front-end dashboard.
He has prepared client deliverables for:
- The US Department of the Navy
- Large data analytics joint venture between two blue shield entities
- HR analytics and visualization platform for a large energy company
- Alteryx automation, training, optimization, workflow review and improvement
- Tax inversion accounting related analytics work
