ECAI Workshop: Digital Humanities, Cultural Heritage, and Opportunities of New Technology

This year the Pacific Neighborhood Consortium (PNC) and the Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative (ECAI) are co-located with the DigitalHERITAGE 2018, 3rd International Congress & Exhibition. The full Congress runs from October 26 to 30th. The theme of the Congress is: New Realities: Authenticity & Automation in the Digital Age.

PNC's main theme is “Human Rights in Cyberspace.” ECAI's presentations will cover technology and infrastructure for Digital Humanities; new challenges for the cultural record, Buddhism and technology, as well as recent work on mapping and data visualization projects.

In addition to the ECAI workshop sessions, two of the PNC Keynote speakers Chris Hoofnagle and Deirdre Mulligan, both from the I School at UC Berkeley were recommended by ECAI. We hope you enjoy their presentations. Several PNC sessions are highlighted here do to contributions by ECAI affiliates and/or their probable interest to ECAI community.
