The School of Information has completed a year-long strategic planning process, resulting in seven priorities and seventeen initial actions to guide the school over the next decade. Grounded in direct input from faculty, staff, students, and alumni, the plan arrives as the I School marks 100 years as a professional school at UC Berkeley — a moment to reflect on a century of adaptation and to chart what comes next. This Fall, 54 new students joined us on campus to embark on the Master of Information Management and Systems program.

Their previous job titles include Product Manager, Teacher, Research Director, Content Manager, Tax QA Analyst, Software Engineer, Wildland Firefighter, Spatial Programmer, UX/UI Designer, and Marine Inspector.
