Face Mask Compliance

As the country opens up, customers are wary to return back to locations they used to frequent due to hesitation on other’s compliance to Covid mandates. A transparent, standardized compliance score for locations would alleviate concerns.

The Face Mask Compliance team created a model that detects the presence and proper usage of face masks (medical, non-medical, face shield, and no mask) from videos to generate a compliance metric for businesses and schools to report and analyze. The model is also able to track unique persons throughout the video via the utilization of Deep Sort.
