Biography

I have a strong background in R&D. I am a Systems Engineer at Becton Dickinson and Co. where I design and develop medical instruments for clinical lab testing and drug discovery. Before this, I was working at Rani Therapeutics as the Technical Lead for their "Robotic Pill" which is a drug device combination product. As one of the earliest members of the Rani team, I worked on the device from early concept stage through several successful clinical trials. Rani is building a robotic pill that is able to deliver a shot (e.g vaccines/biologics) taken as a pill. Prior to that, I co-founded Corvectra that developed a novel non-invasive blood test in a point of care device by skin surface scan. I also worked at FDA on an ORISE fellowship on an Ultrasound neuromodulation device.

I have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University where I focused on fluid mechanical instrumentation for neuroscience applications. I have an MS degree in Biomedical Engineering from George Washington University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from North South University in Bangladesh.

I am dedicated to finding simple solutions to hard problems. Outside of work I love spending time with hker 2 daughters, cooking and traveling.
