Jez Humble is co-author of several books on software including Shingo Publication Award winner Accelerate and Jolt Award winner Continuous Delivery. He has spent his career tinkering with code, infrastructure, and product development in companies of varying sizes across three continents. He works for Google as a site reliability engineer (SRE), and teaches at UC Berkeley.
I'm currently researching IT performance and the factors that impact it (including organizational and environmental factors). I have a particular focus on investigating the emerging trend of DevOps, as it has received little attention in academia, but is getting much attention in industry and isn’t yet well understood.
