Biological research and science policy

I want to understand how data science can take consumer and B2B products in new, unexpected, and innovative directions. I’m equally excited to explore how data science can inform science policy and research. Prior to enrolling in MIDS, I was a research scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). As a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and a graduate student at Harvard University, I studied gene regulation and antibiotic resistance in Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis.
