Daniel Olmstead

For over ten years after graduating college, I split my time between freelance web development and dramaturgy for nonprofit theatre.  I enjoyed the logic behind coding, the art behind design and the nuance behind language, but couldn't find a way to combine them in one field.  After a stint in New York as a hedge fund analyst, I discovered Data Science and signed up for MIDS as a way of combining my passions - the logic of code driving the art of Data Visualization and the nuance of Natural Language Processing.
