Laurel Ruma is Gov 2.0/open government evangelist at O’Reilly Media and Co-chair of Gov 2.0 Expo 2010. She is also co-editor of the forthcoming book Open Government: Collaboration, Transparency, and Participation in Practice. 1st ed. O’Reilly Media, 2010. Laurel knows a lot about open government and many of the key players in the field and has done a tremendous amount to raise awareness and understanding of this field.
