7 On Your Side: Hackers may be spying on you

Cameras are everywhere these days. They're on your cellphones, on your lap tops and on your tablets. But did you know hackers could gain control of your cameras and watch you, even record you, when you least expect it?
Some hackers do it because they can, others have more malicious intent. The bottom line is if you're not careful, what you do in the privacy of your own home may not be as private as you think....
"I'm aware of one instance in which a user, a female user, was using a laptop in bed and a compromising picture was taken," said Doug Tygar from UC Berkeley's [School of Information and] computer science department....
"We're seeing it happen increasingly often, especially since virtually all contemporary laptops now come with built in cameras and microphones," said Tygar....
