5th Year MIDS Open House

Come join us in South Hall to get a first-hand look into life as a 5th Year MIDS student, and to experience our very special I School culture and community! The evening will feature presentations from I School faculty, staff, current 5th Year MIDS students, and MIDS alumni. We will share information about application requirements, career paths, student experience, curriculum, and more! Finally, there will be plenty of time to chat with and get your specific questions answered by current 5th Year MIDS students and alumni, faculty, and staff. And, pizza will be served. The evening is sure to be fun and informative!

Panelists

Percival Chen, MIDS ’20, is currently working as a Talent Data Analyst at Sequoia Capital. Within academia, he has worked both as a tutor and an undergraduate student instructor for introductory courses in biology. Percy graduated with a B.A. in molecular and cell biology.

 

Brendan Foo, current 5th Year student, is currently working as a Graduate Student Instructor for Econometrics. Brendan graduated with a B.A. in economics.

Sally Fang, current 5th Year student, is interested in applying Data Science to software engineering, product, and strategy. She is currently working as a Lead Graduate Student Instructor for Economics Analysis. Sally graduated with a B.A. in economics and data science.

Atharva Mehendale, current 5th Year student, is passionate about solving meaningful problems, building impactful products, and designing delightful customer experiences. He is the co-founder of the UC Berkeley Chapter, Product Space. Atharva graduated with a B.A. in computer science.
