Carissa Yao is a first-year MIMS student focusing on human computer interaction. She received a B.A. in Russian History and Economics from Bryn Mawr College. She is a graduate fellow at Data Peer Consulting, DCDSS. Carissa is passionate about using technologies to help people live better lives and create equitable, user-centered products in a fair, inclusive society.
