Jennifer Patterson, MIDS ’20, is a current 5th Year MIDS student in her second semester. She graduated in 2019 from UC Berkeley with a dual degree in Political Science and Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology. During her undergraduate studies, she contributed to research by developing an empirical model of international apologies for breaches of international law. In the future, she hopes to study the effects of cognition on political behavior, in particular, behaviors related to conflict, intergroup dynamics, and post-conflict institutions.
