5th Year MIDS Information Session

Panelists

Percival Chen, MIDS ’20, is a current 5th Year MIDS student at the School of Information. He is a recent graduate at UC Berkeley majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology. During his undergraduate career, he was introduced to data science through the Bachtrog Lab, where he conducted research in a variety of genomic projects. It was through this time that he was first exposed to different types of data analysis on various species of Drosophila. He is also a research fellow of the SURF Rose Hills Experience. Within academia, he has worked both as a tutor and an undergraduate student instructor for introductory courses in biology.
