Autoarki: Automatic Architectural Drawing Review

Due to the use of modern drafting software, architects are able to design large complex structures with relative speed. However, this software can increase the presence of graphical errors when a model is rendered as a PDF, which is the architect's ultimate deliverable. Because of this, architects currently spend a significant amount of time hand reviewing hundreds of pages of drawings for these graphical errors in addition to any design issues.

Autoarki aims to provide a basic “spell check”-like functionality for architects during the drafting process. Using an object detection model, trained on thousands of architectural images, Autoarki identifies and annotates common graphical errors within architectural drawings. This tool gives architects their time back to focus on design, rather than simple graphical errors.
