TV-Watching Habits Study
Would a person watch less TV if they were made aware of how much time they spend in front of a screen?
We set out to measure the effect of receiving a report that includes the study participant's habits and those of their peers, using:
- A pre-survey to identify demographics and prior behavior
- A stratification strategy to effectively randomize with similar participants
- A Google Chrome extension (created by us) to track Netflix watching behavior
- Self-reporting through online surveys
