US College Selector

For students (and their parents), searching for the right college is one of the most difficult tasks primarily due to the lack of organized information. There are some tools currently available that aim to solve the problem of finding the right college, but most focus on either the cost or the type or the overall ranking for the university one wants to attend. There are actually many other factors that are important to students when they are trying to make the decision, but the tools available today don't do a good job of integrating all of these features together. Our tool will focus on giving the student the flexibility to filter based on what they want in a college.

Our Explore feature gives you the ability to filter universities based on Region, Academics and Programs. To get started, select a region and set values for admission rates, college rankings and tuition costs. If you have a major in mind, select it to further filter your school list. Then, direct your attention to the map and find the schools that suit your needs!

Our Compare feature gives you the ability to compare and contrast attributes of different universities. Get started by selecting three universities to compare. Compare between the three based on rank, tuition, expected salary and admission rates. This feature will allow you to choose the best college for you!

Our Match feature gives you the ability to filter schools based on rank, in state and out of state tuition, expected salary and region. Hovering over the university bubble will give you the complete statistics for the university. This feature will allow you to narrow down your selection based on the criteria that are important to you!
