Dominic Delmolino

Dominic Delmolino is the vice president of technology and innovation for Amazon Web Services Worldwide Public Sector. He is responsible for the oversight, strategy and definition of AWS technical solution architecture offerings supporting public sector customers while advocating on their behalf for AWS feature development. In his career, Delmolino has assisted government and commercial clients in the application of leading edge data management and software development productivity solutions. In addition to a B.S. in computer science from Cornell University, Delmolino has a Master of Information and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He currently oversees AWS public sector efforts in the cloud and emerging technology space, including the deployment and configuration of responsible artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and cloud-based DevOps architectures.

Beth Partridge

Beth brings nearly 30 years of executive-level experience in manufacturing, product engineering, quality control, technical support and operations. Her formal training includes a BS in electrical engineering and a Master of Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley. Beth is that rare executive with a powerhouse combination of natural leadership, deep technical experience, and impeccable execution skills. milk+honey is born from her hard-won understanding that success in business now requires a deep commitment to data-driven decision making, and development of a culture of experimentation and innovation at all levels of an organization. Joyce Shen

Joyce Shen is a business executive, investor, and educator in emerging technologies and innovation. She is also a published author, public speaker, board member, and entrepreneur. Her most recent book is From Talking to Doing: A Short Guide to Corporate Innovation Success. Joyce is the investment director and operating partner at Tenfore Holdings where she invests in enterprise software, big data, and emerging technologies. Joyce also teaches data science at UC Berkeley where she teaches applications of machine learning and AI in product development and innovation.

Previously, Joyce was the global managing director of emerging technologies and venture investments in the CTO office at Thomson Reuters where she built and led global emerging technology group and the corporate venture fund. During her tenure, she led new technology strategy and product innovations in fintech, IoT, and emerging data solutions, established the global blockchain program, and made strategic investments in early-stage technology companies in big data and AI, digital identity, blockchain, and alternative data. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Joyce was the founding global CFO of IBM Cloud Platform. She also spent several years in IBM corporate development leading acquisitions and divestitures exceeding $6B in total transaction value. Joyce received her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Chicago.

David Steier

Dr. David Steier is a director in the advanced analytics and modeling practice of Deloitte Consulting LLP. At Deloitte, David has helped clients use advanced data analytics and visualization in a variety of industries including health care, banking, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, media and the public sector. Prior to Deloitte, David was director in the Center for Advanced Research at PwC, senior director of technology and business development at Kanisa, and managing director at Scient. Beyond his over 20 years of professional experience, David holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Carnegie Mellon and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Purdue University. David taught his Managing Analytics Projects course at CMU in the fall of 2013 as an adjunct faculty member in the Heinz School of Public Policy and Information Systems Management at Carnegie Mellon in the fall of 2013 and 2014.
