Biography
Selene is a Data Scientist at McGraw Hill working at the intersection of Gen AI and education.
Previously, she was a psychometrician at the Educational Testing Service (ETS), working on large-scale assessments such as PISA, PIAAC, and NAEP. She earned her PhD degree in Quantitative Methods (Educational Measurement) from the University of Pennsylvania.
Selene also had a career in international development, working for UNICEF in Nepal, the UN Volunteers program in Mongolia, and KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) in Korea. She holds a Master in Public Policy (MPP) degree from Harvard and a BA degree in International Studies from Ewha Womans University in Korea.
