Scott Thompson

Scott Thompson is a Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) Student at the UC Berkeley I School. He received his MBA from UCLA Anderson, and his Bachelors of Commerce and Adminstraction with First Class Honours from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. He spent 5 years at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) in Newport Beach and New York City focused on portfolio construction analysis for clients, and achieved a Senior Vice President position. Following PIMCO he has held a variety of roles at Fintech companies and spent some time at a digital therapeutics startup focused on sleep health. Outside of work and studies, he is a runner, snowboarder and over-the-hill gymanst.
