Biography

Current Research

I am a computational social scientist with a focus on causal inference and experiment design. My research focuses on citizen and elite behavior interacting with political institutions. My research has been published in The Lancet, The Proceedings of the National Academies of Science, Perspectives on Politics, and field journals. I teach courses on experiment design and causal inference for the MIDS program. Additionally, I have previously taught undergraduate courses at University of California - San Diego, Middlebury College, Georgetown University, and Montana State University, as well as graduate coursework at Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs.
