Riyaz Kasmani

Riyaz Kasmani is a thought leader with 20+ years of success leading global technology teams for Fortune 100 companies.  At Cisco Systems, he's engineered processes to analyze $32B in sales and added $50+ million to annual revenue.  He currently serves as Director, Data Science helping drive machine learning initiatives at Workday, Inc.

Riyaz founded two silicon valley startups and holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from UCLA Anderson School of Business.  He graduated with distinction and on the prestigious Deans Honor List.  He’s currently wrapping up a Master’s in Data Science from UC Berkeley.

Riyaz strongly believes in paying it forward.  He co-founded the Silicon Valley Audit Analytics Roundtable (members include Google, Visa, Adobe, Microsoft).  And he is an Advisor for Cal State East Bay's Big Data Program.  Over the years, Riyaz has been involved in various social initiatives, be it risk assessments for motorcycle ambulances in Africa (Women and Health Alliance), online presence for Mumbai Heart Brigade (Rotary Club), or education for kids in India (Rahe Khair).
