Michael Rivera

Visiting Professor

Monday 4:00pm PST and by appointment

My research interests include immigration policy, political representation, race and ethnic politics, and American voter behavior. I am especially interested in how campaigns can use big data to increase turnout among minority and low propensity voters.

I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. Before Berkeley, I taught at the University of Texas at Austin.
