My research interests include immigration policy, political representation, race & ethnic politics, and American voter behavior. I am especially interested in how campaigns and non-partisan groups can use data science to increase turnout among minority and low propensity voters.

I teach Research Design and Applications for Data and Analysis (W201) in the Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) program.

I received my PhD in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. Before Berkeley, I taught at the University of Texas at Austin.
