Mak Ahmad

Mak Ahmad has 20+ experience in the tech industry working as a software engineer and product manager for Microsoft, Roblox, Instagram, Tiktok, Salesforce and Google. Among many products, he worked on Instagram Reels, Google partner platform, Istio and also co-founded aip.dev.

Mak completed his Ph.D. in computer science at UC Davis with a focus area of visualization, AI in education and API design. He holds an M.S. in computer science from Sonoma State University and has a B.S. in computer engineering and electrical engineering from UC Davis. He has more than a decade of experience teaching Taekwondo at UC Davis and is fluent in Swedish and Farsi.
