Lance Santana is a graduate student in the MIMS program at UC Berkeley, focusing on the design of human-centered AI tools that advance equity in education, healthcare, and other social systems. His work emphasizes accessibility, inclusive design, and natural language processing (NLP), with the goal of creating technologies that empower underserved communities. Lance has led research and product development efforts in educational chatbots, chronic disease communication tools, and AI-driven project support systems.
