Kent Bourgoing

Greetings! My name is Kent Bougoing,and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UCLA in 2023. Currently, I contribute to the environmental sector as an Environmental Engineer Yorke Engineering, an environmental consulting firm in California. My primary role centers on Air Quality, where I assist clients with compliance and regulatory projects related to air quality. This includes tasks such as analyzing annual emissions reporting, assessing technical and regulatory aspects tied to permits, and effectively communicating these analyses within my team, client organizations, public environmental agencies, and the broader public.

I enrolled in the MIDS program with the goal of enhancing my data analytical skills and transitioning into the role of a data scientist. As a newcomer to this field, I am genuinely enthusiastic about the prospect of becoming a data scientist.
