Biography
My focus is on understanding and enabling people to grow, learn, and be more effective, whether that means teaching a new skill, building a dynamic team, or fostering a nurturing community.
I graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2007, with a concentration in Computer Systems and Software. I received my Masters in Information Management and Systems from our very own Information School at UC Berkeley.
I have held several software engineering tools in academic, government, and tech roles ranging from building scalable systems for the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, scaling the then-nascent DNA ethnicity and heritage product at Ancestry, to building advertising technology at Pinterest.
I am currently a Senior Engineering Manager at Pinterest, as well as a Continuing Lecturer here at the School of Information at Berkeley. I am also the founder of Kekoexchange, a social experiment that aims to jump-start strong mentorship relationships by enabling and guiding all members of its community to coach and learn from each other.
