John Baldwin is a data scientist, researcher and graduate student in UC Berkeley's Master of Information Management and Systems program. His focus is on the impact of advertising and artificial intelligence on consumer cognition and behavior. John combines a deep expertise in the writing, research and communication of ideas with statistical and technical expertise from years of industry work as a data analyst in various capacities. His industry experience spans online media, advertising and health care information security.
Current Research Interests:
- Academic research and consumer-facing public awareness campaigns on the effects of personal-data-driven online advertising on human cognition, behavior and temperament
- Policy and technical improvements in information transfer within the health care industry to drive innovation and growth
