With over four years of experience in technology risk and cloud compliance, I am a passionate and driven professional who strives to ensure the security and privacy of customer data in complex IT environments. As a Global Cloud Compliance Manager at Cisco, I lead and manage information security and privacy-related compliance assessments for business units in cloud and on-prem environments, using various frameworks such as SOC, ISO, ISMAP, and C5. I also communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute remediation solutions to close the identified gaps. My mission is to provide guidance and knowledge for business units on new products regarding security compliance, and the impact it has on compliance certifications. I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team that values innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction.

In my previous role as a Technology Risk Senior Associate at EY, I led and performed SOC compliance assessments for Fortune 50 technology clients, evaluating their security, availability, confidentiality, privacy, and processing integrity of customer data. I executed walkthroughs with clients and performed code-level detailed reviews of documentation prepared by staff to ensure the overall control risks were addressed. I also evaluated the design and operating effectiveness of controls supporting clients’ complex IT environments. I led teams of 2-3 staff to interact effectively with clients and engagement managers while coaching delegated tasks. I leveraged my skills in time management, Microsoft Office, and leadership to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines and budgets.
