Biography

Fattaneh Bayatbabolghani is a postdoctoral scholar and lecturer in the School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining to Berkeley, she worked in the School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University-Bloomington as a postdoctoral fellow. She received her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2017 and MS in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2016. Her primary research interest is in designing general and efficient privacy-preserving solutions motivated by real-world applications. During her PhD, she designed novel, general, and efficient privacy-preserving solutions and protocols which can be used for different applications but are specifically used for biometric computations.
