Biography
Hello!
I am Elias Tavarez. I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico and moved to the states in 2005.
Since then, I've lived in several different states and attended the University of Michigan starting in 2016. I graduated with my B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering and joined BASF as part of their Professional Development Program.
As part of the program, I took on three different roles across three different BASF facilities in the US. My final role was that of a Data Scientist for their Production AI team and that's been my permanent role with the company since July 2022.
My interests within Data Science don't lie in any particular business domain. Rather, I am interested in building the best data science/driven teams and designing + creating sustainable machine learning/artificial intelligence solutions.
