Dwight Evans

Dwight N. Evans Jr. was born on 5 September 1971 in Chester, Pa.  He entered the US Army on 21 September 1989 and retired from active duty on 31 March 2018; culminating his career as a Command Sergeant Major. Afterwards he began work as a Department of Defense Contracting. He currently works for Booz Allen Hamilton as an Aviation Subject Matter Expert.

Dwight Evans held numerous positions, including, Battalion Command Sergeant Major; Operations Sergeant Major, First Sergeant, Operations Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Squad Leader, Battalion and Company Standardization Instructor, Technical Inspector, Flight Engineer, Crew-chief, and Mechanic. His participation in major deployments includes, Operation Resolute Support & Operation Freedom Sentinel, Afghanistan; Operation Enduring Freedom VIII, Afghanistan, Operation Noble Eagle, and Operation Uphold Democracy, Haiti.

His military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, 1SOLC, the Air Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, 2OLC, the Army Achievement Medal 1SOLC(1BOLC), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and the Master Aviation Badge.  Dwight Evans is also a member of the prestigious SGT Audie L. Murphy Club. He has been awarded the Order of Saint Michael (Bronze), and has flown in excess of 2700 flight hours under combat, day, night, and night vision goggle conditions.

Upon retirement, Dwight Evans began working in Project Director (PD) Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE), where he managed the training and fielding of the Aircraft Notebook (ACN) for all Army Aviation units. Later, he began working as a Program Integrator where he helped manage the cost, schedule, and performance of a suite of 13 AGSE products. Dwight Evans currently works for Booz Allen Hamilton as an Aviation Subject Matter expert conducting direct charge work, business development, and business capture.

Dwight Evans holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership from Excelsior College, Albany, New York.

Dwight Evans is married to Brianna; they have a combined total of 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
