Arnaldo Tavares Filho

Arnaldo Tavares is Director of AI Business Development for Alphabet & Opensource products at Intel Corp. In this role, he is responsible for leading AIPG's (Artificial Intelligence Products Group) engagements with Alphabet Inc., and coordinate ongoing AI efforts with Alphabet Inc. among different Intel groups and business units. He also supports strategy and business development activities of nGraph (Intel's opensource compiler for deep learning). Prior to this role, Arnaldo was Director for ISV Partnerships. He helped define the strategy and benefits for Intel's AI Builders Program and led AIPG’s engagement with strategic partners such as C3.ai, H2O.ai and Cloudera.

Before joining Intel in Oct 2017, Arnaldo was at NVIDIA for 7 years, where he established their enterprise business in Latin America, created and managed their Inception Program for 2,000+ AI startups and led Enterprise Machine Learning, engaging with partners and customers such as Oracle, eBay, PayPal and Netflix, among others.

Arnaldo is an Electrical Engineer from CEFET (Federal Center of Technological Education) in Brazil and holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. He is also a Master candidate at UC Berkeley, in their Masters of Data Science program. He has one 9-year old daughter and lives in Tracy, CA along with his fiancee Larissa. He enjoys traveling, hiking and entertaining seniors with Frank Sinatra impressions.
