Alexander Carite

I received my undergraduate degree and Purdue University in 2018. After graduating, I worked full time with Roche Diagnostics in their Genomic Sequencing Divsion. At Roche, I worked as a regulatory affairs professional where I worked closely with our development teams to design and demonstrate the safety and clinical/analytical effectiveness of our product. This also involved communicating our product's data to the FDA in hope of achieving pre-market clearance. 

Currently, I work for Dexcom, a MedTech company focusing on diabetes. I work in the data and analytics side of the business where I assist our team with developing products that help people with diabetes use their own data to improve clinical outcomes. 

I am extremely excitied to be a part of the MIDS community and I am looking forward to bolstering my computer programming and statistical skill set while learning about new areas such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
