Biography
My professional interests have always been to make systems run more efficiently. In my 17-year career as an engineer supporting semiconductor manufacturing, I have been able to do this via experiences in strategic planning, operations management, and automated material handling systems engineering. Through my work, I have developed a vision of elevated system performance that is only possible by using the tools and strategies taught in the MIDS program.
For my studies and career, I see myself focusing on the intersection of Decision Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
I have a wife, 2 daughters, and live in Portland, OR.
