This Fall the UC Berkeley School of Information welcomed 59 new Master of Information Management and Systems students to the Berkeley campus.
The MIMS Class of 2025 comes to Berkeley from a variety of different countries and regions, including Canada, China, Eswatini, India, Japan, Krgyzstan, Nigeria, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United States.
Most of the new MIMS students are returning to school from the working world, with an average of five years of work experience. Their previous job titles include Product Manager, Data Scientist, Systems Developer, Adjunct Lecturer, Research Scientist, Software Engineer, Consultant, Teacher, UX Researcher, and UI Designer.
