This Fall the UC Berkeley School of Information welcomed 49 new Master of Information Management and Systems students to the Berkeley campus.
The MIMS Class of 2020 comes to Berkeley from a variety of different countries and regions, including China, Colombia, India, Nigeria, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United States. The group is 59% women and 41% men.
Most of the new MIMS students are returning to school from the working world, with an average of five years of work experience. Their previous job titles include Product Manager, Data Analyst, Senior Designer, Research Analyst, HR Senior Manager, Software Engineer, Application Consultant, Senior Sleep Research Technologist, and UX Designer.
