Yahoo! Research Labs and the University of California, Berkeley announced they will open a research facility near the campus in Berkeley, California. Yahoo! Research Labs — Berkeley is a collaborative effort between Yahoo! and the University of California, Berkeley and will be led by Professor Marc Davis of the School of Information Management and Systems who will serve as director. The new lab will open in August 2005.
