On Saturday, May 14, under sunny skies, friends and family gathered at the Campanile Esplanade to watch as the 7th graduating class of the I School (formerly the School of Information Management & Systems) received their diplomas. Commencement speaker John Battelle, author of The Search: The Inside Story of How Google and Its Rivals Changed Everything, gave a talk that was both thought-provoking and inspirational and was the perfect send off for the new graduates.
