Lecturer (Computer Science) (Department of Computer Science at University of Georgia)

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Georgia invites applications for one full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer position starting August 2019. The responsibilities of this position include teaching foundational courses in the undergraduate major and periodically teaching a senior/beginning graduate level course in his/her specialty. Lecturer candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Scholarly credentials should reflect a strong commitment to teaching Computer Science courses at the undergraduate level. The ideal candidate should have background in undergraduate curriculum development and an excellent teaching record in computer science.

The Computer Science Department is a growing and congenial department of 34 faculty within the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
