Faculty Lecture
Professor David Bamman's research and teaching span the areas of natural language processing, computational social science, machine learning, and digital humanities. His research focuses on improving the performance of computational methods for underserved domains like literature (including LitBank and BookNLP) and developing non empirical approaches for the study of literature, film and culture. This term, he is teaching Info 256 Applied Natural Language Processing and Info 295 Doctoral Colloquium.
