Spend the morning getting to know the Master of Information Management and Systems (MIMS) program. This online event will feature opportunities to mingle with current MIMS students, attend a sample lecture, and discuss application requirements, student life, return on investment, and more.

MIMS Students/Alumni Panel

Andrea Davila, MIMS'20, is a UX Writer at Wish. During the MIMS program, she focused on UX writing and content design. Before joining the I School, Andrea was a Program Representative at the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S in environment.

Astika Gupta, MIMS'17, is a Product Manager at Facebook. During the MIMS program, she focused on product management and design, UI/UX design and research, and front end web development. Before joining the I School, Astika was a Product Manager Intern at eBay and graduated from the University of Mumbai with a B.E. in electronics and telecommunications.

Nailah Hill is a second-year MIMS student focusing on UX design and research. She graduated with B.A. in cultural anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania. Over the summer, Nailah worked as a UX Research Intern at Patreon.

Rajvardhan Oak, MIMS'20, is a Machine Learning Engineer at Microsoft. During the MIMS program, he focused on deep learning, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and security. Before joining the I School, Raj worked as Project Intern at BMC Software and graduated from Pune Institute of Technology with a B.E. in computer engineering. 

Daniela Perez is a first-year MIMS student focusing on people analytics. She graduated from Universidad de Chile with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Before coming to the I School, Daniela worked as a Compensations & People Data Manager at Enaex.


Faculty Lecture

Professor Coye Cheshire’s research focuses on computer-mediated communication, data science, and social and cultural studies. He is especially interested in the social aspects of computer networks and information exchange systems, including risk, uncertainty, trust, and cooperation. This fall he is teaching Info 271B. Quantitative Research Methods.
