Doug will provide an overview of a few industry-specific Databricks case studies and provide an introduction to the priceless science of selling the value of data-centric solutions.

Doug May is the vice president of global value acceleration at Databricks. Doug has over 20 years of experience opening new markets, creating and monetizing solution categories, building and scaling successful customer-facing organizations, and developing innovative and repeatable sales/customer success tools, services, and processes to grow opportunities and accelerate sales and adoption cycles. Expertise in defining business value for technologies and delivering scalability that maps that value to sales and customer success. Doug joined Databricks to build a team and program that shines a light on the business value of every data, analytics, and machine learning project.
