5th Year MIDS Information Session and Student Panel Webinar

Join the I School admissions team and current 5th Year MIDS students to learn more about the 5th Year MIDS program and application process. During the student Q&A panel, you will have the opportunity to hear directly from students about their experiences.

Panelists

Silvia Miramontes, MIDS ’20, graduated from Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, with an emphasis on data science. Last Spring, she participated in Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI) under the supervision of Daniela Uzhizima in the Data Analytics and Visualization Group within the computational Research Division at Berkeley Lab. She has continued to work with Daniela on the development of machine learning algorithms applied to ceramic matrix composites. Currently, she is a Computer Systems Engineer at the Berkeley Lab.
