MIMS Funding Your Education Webinar

Join the I School admissions team and current MIMS student, Raj Oak, to learn more about the many ways to finance your MIMS education, from private and federal loans, to academic student employment. Raj will share more about the funding options he has personaly utilized, such as obtaining a GSI position.

Raj Oak is a second year MIMS student with a focus on data science and cybersecurity. He is currently a graduate student instructor (GSI) for INFO 254: Data Mining and Analytics and has also worked as a Graduate Student Advisor (GSA) for the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity. Over the summer, he worked as a data scientist intern at IBM in their Chief Analytics Division in New York. He is actively involved in research on security and machine learning at both the I School and EECS. After he graduates, he will be joining IBM as a data scientist.
