This workshop will include a presentation, panel, and networking opportunities. Our hosts for evening are Gabriela Mendina (Product Designer, Uber Freight), Muchao Tang (Product Designer, Uber), and Nancy Yang (MIMS ’18; Product Designer, Coinbase).

Gabriela Medina

Product Designer, Uber Freight

Gabriela Medina is a product designer with experience at Uber for more than two years, focusing on web platform experience and the Freight shipper product. Before Uber, she participated in collaborations with Gulfstream Aerospace, Microsoft, and Porsche through the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). She graduated from SCAD with a B.F.A in service design. Since then she has continued her studies on leadership and strategy through a partnership between Harvard and Uber. Originally Colombian, Gabriela is passionate about reading and live music.

Muchao Tang

Product Designer, Uber

Muchao majored in industrial design for college, then he went for HCI in grad school. He has experience working with both digital agencies and tech giants, with focuses on growth, customer identity, maps, and AI design.

Nancy Yang

Product Designer, Coinbase

Nancy is passionate about enhancing experience in consumer facing products. She started her career working behind the scenes of TEDx talks. She has transitioned from finance background to tech and now at the intersection of embarking her crypto journey at Coinbase. Prior to Coinbase, she was a product designer at Uber focusing on web platform experience; she interned at SAP’s consumer product site team. Proud MIMS alum.
