A Tribute to Ray Larson’s Academic Life

An afternoon of short reports by colleagues and collaborators on the academic work and interests of Ray Larson.

Contributors will include Michael Buckland, Michael Cooper, Fredric Gey, Marti Hearst, Clifford Lynch, Jerome McDonough, Vivien Petras, Rob Sanderson, Paul Watry, and Judith Weedman.

Ray Larson passed away on June 17, 2017, following a struggle with cancer. He was alumnus of the UC Berkeley School of Library and Information Studies and then faculty member of the School of Library and Information Studies, School of Information Management and Systems, and School of Information from 1984 until his death.
