Niloufar Salehi joined the I School as an assistant professor in 2018. 

Degrees

Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University, B.Sc in computer engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran

Research Interests

Social computing, technologically mediated collective action, digital labor, and more broadly, human-computer-interaction (HCI).

Fun Fact

I play the harp and I love to travel.

Favorite course you've ever taken or taught

That would actually be the course I’m teaching right now at the I School, Info 290: Research Topics in HCI. The class discussions are really interesting and I’m having a lot of fun mentoring class projects.

Anything else you would like to share?

I'm excited about joining the I School and actively recruiting graduate students.
