Paul Fasana Virtual Pride Fundraiser

Tuesday, June 15, 2021 to Wednesday, July 7, 2021

Join us in making an impact

Help us celebrate Pride and the life of I School alumnus Paul Fasana (M.L.S. ’60), by supporting students with a gift to the Paul Fasana LGBTQ Studies Fellowship Fund. The fund provides an annual fellowship award to a UC Berkeley School of Information graduate student whose research interests or studies are related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or queer studies in any field or discipline.

Paul Fasana, a champion of LGBTQ causes through both scholarship and philanthropy, recently passed away at the age of 87. We honor Paul's memory this Pride by inviting alumni and friends to make a contribution to the fund he established in 2018.

Read more about Paul, his time at Berkeley, his career at the New York Public Library, his many contributions to the Stonewall National Museum & Archives, and why he gave back to Berkeley.
