Alumni (MIMS 2016)

Focus: In the MIMS program I focused on broad notions of accessibility in digital archives, sometimes through critical writing and sometimes through UX design. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Information Studies at UCLA, where I use disability studies and queer theory to illustrate power and authority within archives and archival theory. Specifically looking at natural history museums, I am interested in the history of colonialism and how critical theory can help us better understand it.
